HelixNet is a sophisticated networked partyline intercom system designed for professional use, boasting up to 12 channels and Program Audio transmission. The HelixNet Main Station functions as a system host and an intercom user station, featuring XLR Powerline connections to user stations and accommodating up to three HLI interface modules for external connectivity, including Ethernet and Fiber options.

System Architecture and Operation

The HMS-4X main station efficiently manages all endpoint connections and Ethernet routing of incoming audio to listening user stations and interfaces. HelixNet offers 12 channels of partyline intercom and Program Audio accessible at any HelixNet user station or interface port, expandable to 24 channels with an optional license. With two XLR Powerlines capable of supporting up to 10 user stations each, HMS-4X** supports various cabling topologies and passive splitting, alongside endpoint connectivity over a mix of Powerline and Ethernet.

Connectivity and Functionality

HelixNet's user stations boast a comprehensive range of controls including All Call, Stage Announce, Remote Mic Kill, and Program Audio level adjustments, accessible via the four assignable keysets on the front panel. The system accommodates up to six combined HMS or HRM user stations in expansion mode, each supporting up to 24 channels. Additionally, the browser-based Core Configuration Manager™ (CCM) enables networked system management, offering comprehensive control through the optional HLI-ET2 Ethernet module.
